Conclusion of Engin Terzi Negotiations

Robert Baxter confirmed that negotiations with Engin Terzi have concluded without an agreement. Approximately seven weeks prior to the announcement, Engin Terzi had resigned from the league. Baxter stated that despite several conversations aimed at working together, the discussions "went nowhere". The organization extended its best wishes to Terzi following the cessation of negotiations.

Addressing Misinformation and Athlete Relations

Baxter highlighted that a considerable amount of misinformation had been disseminated, particularly among Eastern athletes. The league has since actively worked to clarify these misunderstandings, and as a result, many of those athletes have returned. Going forward, no rules will be changed without total buy-in from both East and West athletes, ensuring consensus on future adjustments.

Improvements in Refereeing To enhance the sport's integrity, significant improvements are being implemented in refereeing. These include more training and continuous training programs for referees. Additionally, a dedicated representative will be assigned solely for camera review, aiming to improve the accuracy and fairness of calls.

Baku Event Cancellation and Zurich Relocation

The planned event in Baku will no longer proceed as initially hoped. However, there is positive news as many of the athletes who were set to compete in Baku will now participate in the league's next event in Zurich, Switzerland, which is scheduled for the current week.
